Homemade Fudge Brownies

When ever I have a craving for chocolate, I always go on a pantry raid. Today I just so happened to have enough eggs to make Homemade Fudge Brownies. I did, only have enough eggs to make two more batches of cookie dough until the morning when I could get to the store to re supply my fridge. But I figured I could worry about that tomorrow. I WANT CHOCOLATE!! I have never made homemade brownies, I always pick them up from the grocery store while my mind wanders in the isles. So I figured I would give it a shot..... So,  now I'm listening to the oven timer waiting patiently and they smell wonderful. While my little one is licking the bowl, Ill leave you all with the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup walnut halves

Directions
  1. Melt the butter or margarine and mix all ingredients in the order given.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 30 minutes in a 9 x 13 inch greased pan.

I melted the butter first, and in a separate bowl mixed all the dry ingredients.
While the butter cooled (you don't want scrambled eggs) I mixed all the wet and A few minutes later I added the butter to the mixer, gave the batter a quick whip... and prepared my baking pans :0)

I chose to put my brownies in muffin tins and my little one added sprinkles. Using a regular size ice cream scoop, I filled each tin with one scoop... and sprinkles. Popped them into the oven at 350 and baked them for only 20 min. They came out chewy and fudgy. YumO.

Hope you all enjoy :0)
